BloodworksNW is the Pacific Northwest’s largest blood provider, serving over 90 hospitals throughout Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. They are one of a few blood centers in the US doing leading edge research on blood biology, transfusion, thrombosis, and blood disorders.
Situation: After 70 years as Puget Sound Blood Center, the non-profit wanted to change their name and reach more people. PSBC, aka BloodworksNW, asked N2Q to improve their search ranking for their new company name and ensure that people looking up their old name could still find them.
Solution: N2Q made sure old citations and directories were updated with the new name, updated links, setup 301 redirects, and implemented a Google AdWords campaign to make sure anyone searching for PSBC found BloodworksNW. Because BloodworksNW is a non-profit, they qualified for Google’s AdWords grant, and since we are ourselves a Google Partner, we utilized the near $30K of free ad spend that Google grants non profits.
Traffic Growth: Nearly doubled from 3.6k organic unpaid traffic sessions (Approximately 200 keywords in top 100) to 6.1k organic unpaid traffic sessions (Nearly 6,000 keywords in top 100) in one year.
